A preserved working waterfront at the mouth of the Leland River.
Weathered fishing shanties, docks, and the river define this compact historic district. Fishtown Preservation works to protect public access, the working waterfront, and the Great Lakes fishing stories connected to the site. Allow time to walk the docks, browse the small businesses, and watch the river traffic.
